Kim has over 14 years of experience as a real estate appraiser. She began her career at Prince William County, where she was responsible for the mass appraisal of large sections of the County. As an appraiser for the County, she appraised residential, commercial and vacant properties. She developed her expertise by valuing many unusual properties, including historic, high-dollar, and waterfront properties. During her years with PWC, Kim achieved the RES (Residential Evaluation Specialist) designation from the IAAO.
In 2003, Kim created Expert Appraising, Inc. As the President and Senior Appraiser at the company, she provides excellent customer service and highly values her clients, who include many of the best-known lenders (Wachovia, Chevy Chase, Wells Fargo, etc.) Through the highs and lows of the real estate market, she continues to perform in-depth market research, ensuring her valuations are completely researched and very accurate. Kim is in the final steps of her pursuit of the SRA (Senior Residential Appraiser) designation with the Appraisal Institute.
